As for the color of the top one, originally I got that, but when I set the white balance to incandescent, it solved the problem.
Yes, you could try a longer exposure. But in this case, I was shooting from hand, hoping that image stabilization will do the job. And then ...the rest was white balance correction in Photoshop

top shot is great, but you have the same problem as me. that yellow color cast. can be fixed in custom options...but I am too lazy to do it!

The top shot was taken without tripod. You are right for white balance but, sometimes, I prefer to leave it like this one
The colour cast could be the setting. If you shoot in Mnaul try a longer exposure. It's beautiful to me though, real picture postcards.
